The Area Around Horseshoe Bend Has a Lot More Going On Than One Overlook

No list of things to do near Horseshoe Bend is complete without addressing Antelope Canyon, located just a few miles away in the town of Page. Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon are both Navajo Nation land and require guided tours, which are easy to book and run throughout the day. Upper Antelope is wider and more accessible, drawing large groups. Lower Antelope Canyon is narrower, involves ladders, and gives a more immersive experience of the canyon walls pressing close around you.
If you are traveling from Las Vegas, the drive to this area is around four to four and a half hours, which makes it a long but very doable day trip.
